I was born in Udine Italy and I hold a Master of Arts degree in Corporate Public Relations from the University of Udine in Gorizia (2007). I began my PhD studies in June 2008 at the Institute of Communication and Health, Università della Svizzera Italiana where I also work as a research assistant. In the last few years I gained expertise in PR and media relations, event management, web content management, and in the research field, functioning as project manager and coordinator of various organizations and associations in Italy and abroad. Among the most important experiences, I worked as a planner for the Savonlinna Institute for Regional Development and Research, University of Joensuu (Finland), (August 2005 - August 2006) and as press officer for the Province of Gorizia (in 2007). I had also held positions as a research assistant, project manager for different projects, and consultant for laboratories and departments within the University of Udine. Since July 2005, I had worked as a free lance journalist and I am a member of FERPI, the Italian Federation of Public Relations.
